I’m Barbara Varga, wedding planner and founder of BARA Wedding & Event. I hold degrees in economics and Chinese studies, and I’m also a wife and mother.
I have been working as an event and wedding planner for 20 years. During this time, I have successfully organized dozens of corporate events and have had the honor of assisting more than a hundred couples on the most important day of their lives. In recent years, alongside Hungarian weddings, I’ve had the pleasure of planning several multicultural weddings, which I truly enjoy.
I planned my first wedding 20 years ago, when one of my corporate clients entrusted me with the wonderful task of organizing their big day. From that moment on, the requests kept coming, and it became clear that wedding planning was the path I was meant to follow.
Wedding planning is a truly beautiful profession. For me, it’s uplifting to bring a couple’s vision to life, to support and guide them step by step, and to be a calm, reliable presence on their wedding day. I believe that on-site coordination is an essential part of wedding planning—being fully present on the Big Day and taking care of every detail is how I offer real support to my couples.
To be a wedding planner means wearing many hats. This profession demands expertise, dedication, creativity, a positive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, organizational talent, flexibility, precision, and discretion. Personally, I believe in the magic of weddings, the sacred bond of marriage, and the uniting power of family.
Az elmúlt években azonban valami zavarni kezdett az esküvők során… A féktelen pazarlás, a párok megfelelési kényszere a külső elvárásoknak, a environmental awareness. hiánya. Kezdtem kényelmetlenül érezni magam, mert ezek a helyzetek nem passzolnak a világnézetemhez és a mindennapi életvitelemhez. Így jutottam el arra az elhatározásra, hogy néha akár szembemenve a bevésődött esküvői tradíciókkal, változtatásra biztassam az esküvőre készülő párokat.
Egy esküvőt meg lehet szervezni környezettudatosan és pazarlásmentesen is! Manapság, amikor a világ nagy része egyre jobban figyel a mindennapjaiban a környezetbarát megoldásokra az étkezésében, háztartásában, akkor egy esküvőn miért ne lehetne!
Mint esküvőszervező abban tudok a segítségetekre lenne, hogy a környezettudatos lépéseket szem előtt tartva szervezem meg az esküvőtöket és segítek megtalálni azokat az esküvői szolgáltatókat, akik hasonlóan gondolkodnak a környezetvédelem fontosságáról.
